I am Susan.

That’s me in the image above.

For many years I have worked on a concept of bringing healthy living, happiness and wellness to people. Having been able to experience the rise of wellness concepts out of the ancient and traditional medicine of Ayurveda in Asia and witnessing a number of wellness approaches in Europe and the United States, setting up In My Nature was the very next step in my life when I moved to Australia and after having started my own hiking club “Happy when I’m hiking” in 2013 (now, approaching an incredible 1,500 members!).

I was very fortunate to have had the time to do literally hundreds of nature walks, Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) and walks all across beautiful Victoria. I even went to stunning nature locations in Queensland and New South Wales, not to forget New Zealand. I must admit I am addicted to nature. And so should you.

Venturing out in nature and bathing in forests is, indeed, a unique source of energy and well-being. Across the years I noticed that there are many, many Australians who would – with a gentle push and guidance – desire to get back to where mankind originates from… nature. They often don’t seem to know how to do this best and with whom.

With the help of my family and good friends we have developed the business concept of In My Nature as the first accredited company in Australia which offers Forest Therapy in accordance with the original and recognized Japanese Shinrin-yoku principles. To expand my own professional background as Company Secretary (Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, London/UK) and Personal Trainer (Diploma of Personal Training, Melbourne/Australia) having dealt with people of so many different backgrounds, I decided to become a qualified Forest Therapy Guide. Thus, I can safely say I am in the position to give you and all other clients of In My Nature the very professional guidance and therapeutic support in replenishing yourself through the basic but essential benefits nature has to offer. From my observation and experience there is hardly any more suitable approach to become healthy and remain happy but to be in nature. Therefore, it was easy to create the vision and mission for In My Nature:

Nature cares. Nature heals. Nature gives.

If you have any specific question about In My Nature, our services and our experienced team of dedicated guides, therapists and advisers, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you for being with In My Nature,

…Oh, and if you wish to join us and help to expand In My Nature business- and service-wise, we’d love to hear from you, too!
