IMN reserves the right to amend, change or omit this site at our discretion. Additionally, we reserve the right to institute changes or amendments (effective immediately) to any or all of the Terms and Conditions contained in this document and to which, by your utilisation of the website, you are bound.

In the following you find our detailed booking conditions.

1. Booking
All events to be booked online are offered by IMN. Component services such as accommodation and meals may be supplied by subcontractors to IMN. IMN does not accept liability for the actions, service standards or failures of these subcontractors.

2. Inclusions
These are listed in the relevant services and/or booking section of each page or, additionally, in respective flyers and fact sheets. Retreat or workshop accommodation described is typical but not specific and may change from time to time.

3. Acceptance
3.1 Forest Therapy walks and retreats
Your booking becomes valid after IMN has received both your deposit as specified and your completed booking form and you have received a confirmation email from us. A person making a group booking is presumed to have authority from other group members to act on their behalf. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a booking based on the information revealed to us. If you are unsure about your suitability for your preferred trip please ask.

3.2 Forest Therapy Training and Workshops
IMN is an Accredited Training Provider of the International Nature and Forest Therapy Alliance (INFTA). By enrolling in a Forest Therapy training course with IMN, you agree to these terms and conditions, whether you have read the terms and conditions or not.
Immediately after acceptance of the application for participating in a training course by INFTA and the respective invoicing by IMN, a down-payment (or part thereof) of the total course fees to IMN is mandatory. The remainder of the course fees is due prior to the start of the training course. Typically, the due date for the final payment of the course fee is required four weeks prior to the start of the training course.
Once all course fees are paid, IMN provides the trainee with training material for the course. For didactical reasons, the provision of training material for a course is stepwise, based on the trainee’s progress through a course.

3.3 Professional Relationship
You acknowledge that the relationship between IMN and yourself shall not constitute a relationship of partnership or joint venture or any other relationship where IMN or subcontractor of IMN can be held responsible in any way for any actions or words made by you.

4. Minimum Numbers
Our day trips require minimum numbers to operate and this varies from trip to trip. This is for safety and logistical reasons. We may elect, at our discretion, to operate trips with smaller numbers for overnight retreats.
Forest Therapy Introductions whether booked as workshop-only or as part of a six-months INFTA Forest Therapy Guide Training require a minimum number of participants which depends on the location. Typically, the minimum number of participants for Forest Therapy Introductions is five. If this minimum number of participants is not reached 30 days prior to the beginning of the Forest Therapy Introduction, IMN reserves the right to cancel the workshop and refund the deposit to each participant. IMN cannot be held responsible for any additional expenses incurred by any of the participants, such as the booking of flights or travel arrangements to reach the workshop location. Any such expense is the sole risk of a participant.

5. Retreat Accommodation
Our standard advertised prices are based on two people sharing a room. Single rooms may be available upon payment of an additional single room supplement fee. Triple and quadruple sharing in bunk rooms maybe available from time to time. If you wish to share a room, we will try to find a roommate of the same sex. Allocations will be made in the order bookings are received. If there is no one for you to share with, or if you prefer a single room, you must pay the single supplement fee.

6. Changes to Events
IMN may alter your trip if necessary: IMN reserves the right to alter Forest Therapy walk or retreat itineraries at any time to ensure satisfactory operation of trips. Reasons could include but are not limited to weather, walking track or national park closures, road conditions, change of suppliers, availability of meals, fuel, other transport etc. necessary for the trip to operate smoothly and successfully.

7. Cancellation & Amendment Policy

All amendments made may be subject to an administrative fee up to 20% of the cost of the event booked.
  • Forest Therapy Guide Training Practicum:
It is acknowledged and understood that IMN incurs initial and ongoing costs associated with a trainee’s course enrolment, whether the trainee progresses academically in the course in which the trainee is enrolled or not. Thus, course fees are non-refundable after the training has resumed and training material, even partially, has been provided to the trainee. Training material includes material and access to specific online training resources provided by IMN. Each practicum has a set date of completion. Trainees are required to finish the practicum within the given six months period and before the set date of completion. An extension beyond the date of completion up to a maximum of 12 months from the start of the training can be requested in writing at least two weeks prior to the date of completion stating reason(s). Evidence and/or supporting documentation may be requested by IMN to give approval for a requested extension. An extension past the day of completion carries an extension fee of AUD 100 per week. In some instances, students can request and may be granted the option of deferring studies and continuing with the next available cohort. In this instance, a written request must be made to IMN. Deferral to a later training cohort may carry an administration fee of AUD 500.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):
Applicants who failed to complete a training or practicum or applicants with a specific academic or professional background may apply for RPL. While RPL applications are carefully assessed by IMN and INFTA, it is at the discretion of IMN or INFTA to grant RPL. Any RPL application carries an administration fee of USD 500 whether it is successful or not. This fee has to be paid prior to RPL undertaken by IMN or INFTA.

From time to time, the terms of this policy may change at IMN’s discretion. In the event of such changes, the new policy will apply for all walks, retreats, workshops, Forest Therapy Introductions or Forest Therapy Guide trainings booked after the date and time of the policy change. For any further questions about our cancellation policy, please feel free to email us at info@inmynature.life. We will make every endeavor to get back to you within three business days with a full response.
